Dear Zohar:

	I notice that you received today a letter from Andrei Ershov
identical in external form to one I received today.  If so it is
a form expressing your intentions about attending the September 16-22
symposium on algorithms to be held in Uzbekistan.  Do you intend to
attend it?

	In view of the fact that you were also invited to his previous
symposium, but weren't allowed to attend, I plan to take a stiffer
position this time.  Namely, if you accept this tentative invitation,
then my attendance will depend on whether the final invitation for
you and the visa formalities are successful.  I would inform Ershov
of this fact - most likely in a letter separate from my formal acceptance
of his invitation.  Please let me know you intention as soon as possible.
